Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must be at least 30 years of age

  • Possess a High School Diploma or GED

  • Have 10+ years of verifiable ministry or marketplace impact

  • Submit a Curriculum Vitae or Professional Resume

  • Provide copies of academic credentials or certifications

  • Secure 3 endorsements from ordained ministers or respected leaders

  • Submit a dissertation or a book authored by the candidate that aligns with their ministry or marketplace influence

  • Not have any public renouncement of Jesus Christ or conflict with ICU’s values

Application Process

Step 1

Submit Online Application

Fill out the Honorary Degree Nomination Form on our website.

Step 2

Upload Required Documents

  • CV or resume

  • Copy of diploma/certifications

  • Endorsement letters (3 total)

  • Dissertation or book authored by the nominee that reflects their influence and contribution

Step 3

Nomination Review

ICU’s internal advisory committee will review nominations year-round.

Step 4

Final Selection

The Chancellor and ICU Board of Directors will make the final selection.

Step 5

Award Ceremony

Honorary Doctorates will be conferred during ICU’s Fall or Spring Commencement.
